Our own research has turned up more than 150 driving schools and driver training businesses in North Carolina, from Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro and Concord and beyond. Whether you run a one-instructor operation or a school with several cars, the work is the same: keep the calendar full, keep instructors and cars from being double-booked, collect payment, and know how many hours each student has done. Drivloop puts all of that in one app.
What Drivloop does for driving schools in North Carolina
- Online booking: your own booking page with your logo, packages and prices. Students book open times inside your rules. More
- Scheduling: instructor weekly hours, days off and cars, with a clash check so no instructor or car is double-booked. More
- Card payments: connect Stripe and student payments go straight to your own account. Drivloop takes no cut. More
- Reminders: booking confirmations and an email reminder before every lesson; payment reminders on Growth and Pro.
- Student progress: hours toward a goal, a skills checklist and instructor notes after each lesson.
- Instructor app: today’s lessons with pickup address and car, one-tap directions, mark done or no-show. More
Set up around your own rules
Every state sets its own rules for driver education and teen drivers, and programs differ from school to school. Drivloop doesn’t try to replace your state paperwork. Instead, you set the hours goal that fits your program, change it for any single student, and keep every lesson, note and payment on record in one place. For the rules that apply to your school, check the official North Carolina driver licensing agency.
Lessons, reminders and the calendar all run on your school’s local time zone. You choose the lesson length, how much notice you need for a booking, how far ahead students can book, and how late they can cancel or move a lesson for free.
