Running a driving school means juggling a lot at once: instructors with different hours, a few cars, students who want lessons after school and on weekends, payments that come in as cash, checks and cards, and parents asking how many hours their teen has done. Most schools start with a paper book, a spreadsheet and a lot of phone calls. That works until it doesn’t. A lesson gets booked twice, a student forgets to show up, or nobody remembers who still owes for a package.
Driving school software puts all of that in one place. Drivloop is built only for driving schools. Owners, instructors and students all use the same app, and each person sees just their own screens.
What Drivloop does
Online booking page
Your school gets its own booking link with your logo, your lesson packages and prices, and your instructors. Students sign up, buy a package and pick a time. They only see times that are actually open, inside the rules you set: how much notice you need and how far ahead students can book. Read more about the online booking app.
Instructor schedules and cars
Set each instructor’s weekly hours and days off, and add your cars. Drivloop won’t let the same instructor or the same car be booked for two lessons at once. The calendar shows the week by instructor or by car, and you can book, move or cancel a lesson in a couple of taps. More on scheduling software.
Card payments
Press “Connect Stripe” and student card payments go straight to your own Stripe account. Students can pay for a package when they book. Cash and checks work too: mark them paid in one tap. Drivloop takes no cut of your lesson payments; Stripe charges its normal card fee. More on online lesson payments.
Automatic reminders
Students get an email when a lesson is booked or moved, and a reminder before each lesson, at the number of hours ahead you choose. On the Growth and Pro plans, Drivloop can also send payment reminders for unpaid balances on a schedule. An outbox shows every email that went out.
Student hours and progress
Set the number of hours students should complete. Each finished lesson counts toward it, so students see something like “12 of 20 hours.” Instructors tick off skills from a checklist and leave a short note after each lesson, so the next instructor knows where to pick up.
An app for instructors
Instructors see today’s lessons with the pickup address and the car, tap for directions or to call the student, and mark a lesson done or a no-show. See the driving instructor app.
Reports
On Growth and Pro, reports show income per week and month, your busiest instructors, packages sold, how students paid, and cancels and no-shows.
Who it’s for
Drivloop fits a solo instructor who teaches every lesson, a small school with two or three cars, and a busy school with many instructors. If you teach lessons yourself as the owner, you can turn on “I also teach lessons” and appear on the calendar like any instructor. You can add team members, too, such as front-desk staff who can book lessons but can’t open billing or payout settings.
What it costs
Drivloop has three plans, all billed monthly: Starter $99 (up to 2 instructors), Growth $179 (up to 6 instructors) and Pro $249 (unlimited instructors). Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial. You add a card when you sign up, and nothing is charged during the trial. There are no setup fees and no contracts, and you can cancel any time from your billing page. Your students and instructors don’t pay anything to use it. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.
