Privacy Policy

Drivloop (“Drivloop”, “we”, “us”) makes scheduling, billing and messaging software for driving schools at drivloop.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, email support@drivloop.com.
Who this covers
Driving schools that use Drivloop (“schools”), their owners, staff and instructors, and the students who book lessons with those schools. Each school decides which students it adds and is responsible for its relationship with them. Drivloop processes student information on the school’s behalf.
Information we collect
- Account details: name, email address, mobile phone number and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- School details: school name, address, lesson locations, packages, prices and team members.
- Lesson and booking details: lesson times, instructors, pickup or meeting places, notes and lesson history.
- Payment details: what was paid, when and how. Card payments are handled by our payment processor (Stripe). Drivloop never sees or stores full card numbers.
- Technical details: basic device, browser and log information needed to keep the service secure and working.
How we use information
- To run the service: booking, rescheduling and cancelling lessons, sending reminders and receipts, and processing payments.
- To send service messages by email and text message (see “Text messages (SMS)” below).
- To provide support, keep accounts secure, prevent fraud and fix problems.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use student information for advertising.
Text messages (SMS)
When a driving school uses Drivloop, students (and parents or guardians, where the school adds them) who give their mobile number to the school may receive text messages from that school through Drivloop.
- What we send: lesson reminders, booking confirmations, schedule changes and cancellations, and other lesson-related updates from your driving school. Account messages such as sign-in links may also be sent.
- How often: message frequency varies with your lesson schedule.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply.
- Opting out: reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will get one message confirming you have opted out. Reply HELP for help, or email support@drivloop.com.
- Carriers: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers are shared only with the service providers that deliver the messages for us, and only to deliver them.
Who we share information with
- Your driving school: a school can see the information of its own students, staff and lessons.
- Service providers that help us run Drivloop, such as hosting, email delivery, text message delivery, maps and payment processing. They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users, the public or Drivloop.
- If the business changes hands, as part of a merger or sale, under this same policy.
How long we keep information
We keep information while an account is active and as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. A school can ask us to delete its account and data. Payment records may be kept longer where the law requires.
Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords and access controls to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and fix issues quickly.
Your choices and rights
You can view and update your account details in the app. Students can ask their driving school, or us, to access, correct or delete their information. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. To make a request, email support@drivloop.com.
Children
Drivloop is meant for driving schools and their students. Students under 18 should use Drivloop with the involvement of a parent or guardian, as arranged with their school. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the date above. If the changes are significant, we will let schools know.
